Really U of H?! Really?!?!
You tell me now. You decide the week before I’m supposed to graduate is the time to tell me that one of my credits, just 1 stupid hour, might not count because it’s not the right class. This information couldn’t have been brought up before I took the class 2 years ago? Or any semester since then? I have met with my advisor at least 5 times this year. Most of those visits were about graduating. Maybe one of those times it would’ve been nice to mention to be that my semester of concert band was completely useless and that I might need to take another class that does count toward the core of fine arts credit!!
What the hell am I supposed to do now!? Are they saying that I can’t graduate because of some stupid technicality? No one told me that concert band wouldn’t count toward visual and performing arts. It’s concert band! I took it because I thought it counted. How could it not! I visually performed arts. In fact, I think 2 years ago it did count. That’s why I specifically took that instead of taking a piano class like I wanted.
This sucks. Now instead of studying for my finals and finishing up with my semester, I have to go sort out this stupid mistake that they made.
