Top 5 Jobs
If time, money, responsibility, natural talent/ability, education or birth right did not matter, these are the top 5 jobs I would like to have.
5. Heiress- hoards of money just cuz my parents did something right! Yes, please! Plus, I could literally do anything I wanted with my life- nothing keeping me down except gravity
4. Tour guide in a foreign country (or ski instructor, river guide, etc.)- because it’s always changing and would be exciting all the time. I’d always be meeting new people, experiencing new things, and getting to see the what the world has to offer on someone else’s dime.
3. A chick guitarist in an all guy band- because it seems fun and you don’t often see a chick in a band with guys who isn’t the singer, and I don’t really like female rock singers or all girl rock bands… So if I’m a rock star, I want to be one because I can hold my own playing that guitar with the big boys
2. International volunteer/philanthropist and all around do-gooder- because what I really would like to do travel all over the world helping people. I could help build a school in Zimbabwe, then go and help conserve the habitat for giant sea turtles in Costa Rica, then go teach English to orphans in Taiwan. This is “the dream”, but unfortunately not realistic…
1. Contortionist- because I think it’s AMAZING and I could join Cirque du Soleil and travel the globe, astonishing people for a living. If only I were double-jointed… Stupid, normal joints
Happy 2012
I’m not a fan of New Year’s resolutions because I shouldn’t have to wait for the start of a new year to improve myself. I should be doing that all the time. But I guess this is the time when people think of new beginnings. Leaving all the problems of the previous year behind and making the next year better. So with that in mind here are my Top 5 Resolutions.
5. Make my room look more inviting and habitable (i.e. places to walk and sit without stepping/sitting on stuff)
4. Read at least 5 new books (hopefully more)
3. Get all my pre-reqs done and apply to PT school
2. Be in a different country by the end of the year
1. Recognize when people don’t really care about me and stop wasting so much of my time and energy on them (this one is the most important, but also the hardest)

Merry Christmas!
Despite everything, I still believe things can be this perfect.
Someday.
